Vortex is a little easier to use with shorter lists, which is why we recommend this for our target audience here, i.e. It does not matter much if you use Vortex or MO2 as your organizer, but don't use NMM, it's old and outdated. We also have a list of VR Specific Mods and of course, a very comprehensive Guide Compendium, which contains all the knowledge we collected over time. If you want to stray off the super-duper lightweight path and include some changes to the game itself or feel like you have time for more than 10 mods, you're better off going through the Lightweight Lazy List (classic 80/20 approach) and/or SIRVAGG 2020 (much effort but much gains) instead Some of the mods in this list are mainly here because they do the same as a set of other mods which I'd prefer otherwise. The list is still pretty vanilla, other than the VR specific things and some visuals. If you don't want to install more than that, install these! Check out my combat mod highlight video to see some of them in action It is subjective, of course, as all lists are, but I think many can agree on most of these.
After a long while of modding and quite a bit of thinking, I hereby want to present you my top 10 list of mods for Skyrim VR.
